John Eades, being "feeble of body but of sound mind," leaves "to my grand son Robert Hugh Ervin five negroes to wit, Virginia, Logan, Betty, Bill and Jacob," along with various lands, etc. Should his grandson "die without issue... I bequeath the aforesaid five negroes above named to my daughter Margaret E. Austill or the Heirs of her body..."
