Description
Roman Empire, northern empire, Ca 2nd to 3rd centuries. We would normally call these bracelets, but these are MANLY huge armbands, meant to go around the large bicep of a fighting man. Solid cast bronze, one in slightly flattened form, other rounded. Largest measures about 3-1/4" inner diameter.
Provenance: Ex Sarkisian collection acquired before 1970.
