18th century, four-sided open form on a rectangular foot ring, carved and stamped with archaistic bronze-like decoration, including a taotie monster mask on each side, with a turquoise glaze pooling to a darker color in the recesses. Mounted on gilt bronze base with cloud scrolls and dragon handles inset with rings. Small chips near one dragon handle. Approx. 7 1/4 by 11 in., 18.5 by 28 cm.
