Description
19th century, Daoguang period. This porcelain vase is in the archaic cong shape with rectangular body and round mouth. Glazed in the style of Song dynasty Ge kilns. The motif on each side of its body is from the Bagua of Yijing (Book of Changes). Six character underglaze blue Daoguang mark on the base. Approx. 15 by 5 1/4 in., 38.2 by 13.3 cm.
