DESCRIPTION: Dated 1755 land deed facilitated by Thomas Penn and Richard Penn, Esquires. Printed deed text with necessary parts filled in by hand. Deed for land on Swahatawro creek in Lebanon Township, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. For transference of ownership of land from Thomas Smiley to John Potts, with surveying done by John Oliphant. With pink ribbon and pressed seal. Matted under pink with seal separated from main text of deed, attached by ribbon. Stained wood frame. MEASUREMENTS: Deed 13-3/4" x 15". Seal 5" diameter. Overall with frame 26" x 21-1/2". CONDITIONS: Expected folds, toning, wear to text at folds. Discoloration to ribbon. Edge wear and discoloration to seal.
