Description
Serial No. 3519. Manufactured in 1865 in Utica, New York. This is part of the U.S. Ordinance contract of 1864. Has a perfect cartouche on the left grip and all sub-inspector marks on metal. Cylinder bears No. 3725. Features include 7-1/2" octagon barrel, six shot unfluted cylinder, .44 caliber percussion, blued finish, two piece walnut grips. Just traces of original factory blue, balance of gun has turned gun metal grey with overall freckling. Excellent grips. Perfect action. Excellent strong bore. Comes with a vintage unmarked holster that is form fitted to the gun.
