Plain bodies in classicist style on oval feet
Decoration with garlands, rosettes and medallions in relief
Hinged lids with finials in the form of a pineapple, ebony handles with thumb rest

Two pots of noble form
The tea and coffee pots from 1912 were made by Thomas Latham & Ernest Morton in Birmingham. The elaborate decoration with delicately rendered relief medallions showing a figurative representation are a particularly interesting feature. The elegant design is completed by ebony C-shaped handles and carved ebony pineapple finials.
The pots are hallmarked on the side with the maker’s mark ‘TL&EM’ for Thomas Latham & Ernest Morton, sterling standard, Birmingham town mark and date letter ‘n’ (1912). The lids are additionally marked on the inside with standard and date letter.
The tea and coffee pots are in very good condition with light signs of age and wear. They measure 19.5 cm and 24.5 cm in height respectively. The overall weight is approx. 1,257 g. (tfa)
