Description
A group of two architectural engravings comprising of one of Arcus Gallieni, which formerly stood at the Esquiline Gate in Rome, Italy, and depicts the tripartate arch with depictions of roman coins on left and right and an inscription below the image in Latin (framed 29.5" x 31", unframed sight size 16" x 17.5"); and an engraving of the Temple of Janus, which stood near the Roman Forum and housed a sculpture of Janus (the two-faced god of boundaries), and depicts the temple from a slightly skewed angle with an inscription above "Ianus de Rome" (framed 28" x 29.5", unframed sight size 13.75" x 17.25").
