Houghton, Mitchell Bennett. From the Beginning Until Now. Montgomery, Alabama: Paragon Press, Ca. 1914. 276 pp. plates. Title from cover. First Edition. Original cloth. A near fine copy with gift presentation form the author dated July 8, 1914. The author details his experiences as a member of the 15th Alabama Infantry, the unit which opposed Chamberlain's 20th Maine at Little Round Top. Houghton also discusses Camp Morton, The prisoner of war camp in Indiana, and the formation of the Ku Klux Klan in Pulaski., Tennessee.
