Pencil signed by Christenberry at lower right corner of verso and titled at lower left of verso: “5c, Demopolis, Alabama, 1978.” The image shows a “5 c” on a brick wall, with the bottom corner of a Coca-Cola logo. Ink label on back of matting in Christenberry’s handwriting, probably related to a different image (“Door of Cement Factory, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, 1981. EK74”). Image: 17 3/8 x 22 in. Sheet: 20 x 23 7/8 in. Frame: 24 7/8 x 29 1/8 in.
In custom archival Plexiglass frame from Archival Art Services, Wash. DC. Framer’s pencil notation at lower corner of mat (non buffered ragboard front + back 1993”). Purchased by owner, an artist and private collector, directly from Christenberry.
