A Roman ceramic lamp with a boy on a dolphin, c. 1st - 2nd Century AD, a dolphin above and three cuttlefish below. The shoulder is decorated with grape vines, the nozzle is small and round, ring handle at back and on flattened base, maker's signatures double lines. L: 3 7/8 in (9.9cm), D: 2 1/4 in (5.7cm). Intact, some areas of light weathering, surface deposits. Ex Dutch Private Collection.
