A late Victorian gold plated necklace, designed as a series of three imitation split pearl and blue enamel cross fleury graduated panels, with scrolling cannetille and fancy-link swag detail, suspended from a woven collar. Length 39cms. With fitted case.Overall fair to good condition, there is some minor discolouration to the chain near the clasp, this could be due to a possible repair to one of the suspension loops attaching the clasp. The clasp is in working order but would benefit from some attention to make it move with more ease. There is some green tarnishing mainly to the reverse of the central drop but also to in small areas around the rope-twist and beaded detail to all the drops. They are set with imitation pearls. One of the imitation pearls to one of the side side drops is missing. The reverse panel is plastic and quite dirty. There is one small suspension loop missing to the reverse of the central crop and one suspension loop that is bent. Gross weight 43.5gms. The case is in fairly good condition, with some slightly rubbed areas to the inner flocked lining. It clips closed, it has some easily visible scratches to the front, wear is in keeping with the age of the piece. The raised central part of the fitted case has a fitted indent for a brooch and earrings as well.
