1st century BC, Danubian tribal mint. Obv: crude head of Dionysos right with X behind. Rev: crude standing Herakles figure with club and pelletted lionskin; double lines of large pellets in place of legends. 14.71 grams. See DLT 9681 and 9685 (for similar example of obverse and reverse respectively"). Copied from a Thasos tetradrachm (see Sear 1759, etc. for example of original type").
