Description
FREE-BLOWN ENGRAVED MINIATURE STAND LAMP, ruby globular-form font, colorless solid stem and circular foot with slightly rough pontil mark, font engraved "N. J. H." within foliate wreath, No. 1 fine-line collar. Fitted with an extremely rare E. F. Jones miniature-like, smaller than the standard No. 0 string-wick lip burner, thumbwheel marked "E. F. JONES PATENT. MAY. 4, 1858 / REISSUE. JAN. 11. 1859", and a colorless lip chimney. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. and others. Circa 1850-1870. 5 1/4" H to top of collar, 2 7/8" D foot.
