ALBERT SAUER (1898 - 1945) Commandant of Mauthausen concentration camp also a senior administrator at Sachsenhausen and towards war's end he commanded Kaiserwald. Typed D.S. 1p. 4to. ""Concentration Camp Mauthausen"" Oct. 7 1938 a signed statement by ""Protective Prisoner"" Franz Rischanek. The prisoner is assigned a number and states that he is unaware of any break-in at the metalworker's union. He denies associations with others mentioned in a letter which had implicated him etc. Witnessed by Sauer at bottom. Staple holes else fine.
