He commanded the final pacification of India and the British contingent in Chinese expedition (1859-60). A.L.S. 1p. 8vo Quartermaster General embossed stationary Horse Guards Aug. 30 1866 discusses a promotion which apparently has been cancelled and efforts to push it through. Very good.
