Chinese, 19th century. Two Famile Rose porcelain items comprising of a Tongzhi Period (1862-74) lidded tea jar of cylindrical form with figural scene around body of jar depicting a parade scene with participants holding lanterns and riding dragons, with a band of patterned cartouches around base and a band of meandering key pattern around side band of lid, and two male figures on top of lid in an exterior scene holding precious objects within a border of c-scrolls and blossoms, marked to underside with four character Tongzhi Nian Zhi underglaze calligraphic mark indicating Tongzhi Period Make, approximately 4 3/4" tall, 3 1/8" diameter; and a bud vase decorated on front of bulbous base with two mythological beasts flanking a blossom, with a gilt seascape scene on other side of base, otherwise decorated with clusterd floral patterning and gilt details, unmarked, approximately 6 1/8" tall, 2 1/8" diameter at base.
