Description
An impressive Pre-columbian Chinesco trio from West Mexico, ca. 100 B.C. - 250 A.D. A large figure decorated with white slip and painted with red linear patterns. A red painted head band with white dots. An extremely rare Chinesco variant that you are unlikely to see again. Accompanied by an olla and bowl from the same tomb, both decorated with the same white slip with red painted geometric patterns. To find a Chinecso figure of this size and of this type is very unlikely and to find three pieces from the same tomb is almost impossible. All displayed incredibly on a custom made metal stand. Notarized documents with detailed provenance will be included.Extremely Rare!!!!Figure - 14-5/8" in height. Olla - 4-11/16" in height x 7-1/2" in diameter. Bowl - 1-3/8" in height x 5-1/2" in diameter.
