Dmitry Babichenko started his artistic career by publishing caricatures and producing political and film posters. His involvement with film studios led to a career change; he is now remembered as one of the first Soviet animators. Vladimir Kudryashev studied at the Kazan’ Art School and later at the Moscow VKhUTEMAS (class of 1929). In the 1920s and early 1930s he produced a number of posters. Kudryashev is remembered as a talented sculptor and graphic artist, but according to his online biography most of his works were lost during the war.
