Description
A large Teotihuacan tripod jar from Mexico, c. AD 300 - 400, a Late Tlamimilolpa type standing on the characteristic trio of nubbin feet, the corseted rim is widely flared and the chamber is textured with 'pattern polished' vertical linear decor. H: 4 1/2 in; Dia: 4 1/2 in. In excellent condition, with strong mineral deposits and trails. Ex Chicago estate.
