Description
A fine Teotihuacan tripod cylinder from Mexico, c. AD 400 - 550, an Early Xolalpan example which stands on a trio of hollow feet containing small rattles. The nicely polished vessel shows extensive mineral deposits and trails. H: 4 5/8 in. Ex Chicago estate; Cf. Rattray, Teotihuacan, page 526.
