Description

Art Deco clock : A rare romantic French garniture de cheminee clock with typical good quality 8 day Paris Movement striking on the hour and half hour on a bell via a countwheel , bearing the markers initials "JR" stamped on the back plate. The case is made of multicoloured marble in symmeterical section, surmounted by two figures Pierrot & Columbine who are embracing in the light of a crescent moon ( removable) 21" high and ,13" wide (depth 4.5"). The dial bears the retailers name and address' Lasvignottes, Bayonne' , the garniture standing 14" high
