Roman Empire, ca. 2nd - 4th century CE. Sweet and petite candlestick form vessel with characteristically conical base with concave bottom and slender tapering long neck, comprised of clear glass with areas of rainbow iridescence. 4-1/2"H (11.25 cm).
Provenance: Ex-Attal private collection, Austin, Texas via family descent from great uncle, acquired in the first quarter of the 20th century.
