The Dietz “8 Day” lantern has a huge fuel capacity. The idea is that the flame would last 8 days. The frame construction is unusual with the flat verticals. It uses a non-railroad style globe. The lid is factory stamped “W.P. Ry. Co.” The red paint is original. It is hard to find this type of lantern with any company markings. Complete and ready for display.
