GOOD PAIR OF FRENCH KAKIEMON DECORATED PORCELAIN COVERED URNS
19th century, probably Samson, the underside of each with a 'french horn' cypher / Made in France in red;
each gadrooned vessel with a long tapered neck and mid spherical section, with double fish-head serpent handles, beneath a conforming cover, on a circular spreading foot, decorated allover in a kakiemon palette with stylized chinese inspired flowering trees, with three banded borders with scrolls, highlighted with gilt.

Height 10 1/2 in., Width at handles 6 1/2 in.

overall very good condition, almost no wear, some possible adaptation re. prior mounting.
