The Gründerzeit gambling table was made in Germany around 1870. The curved volute feet resting on wooden rollers in brass mounts. The profiled cross stretcher sits between two massive cylindrical posts. Above four tapered legs the flat apron and slightly projecting hinged plate can be found. It is fold- and can rotatable and is covered inside with raspberry colored felt. The frame shows varying floral cut elements. The plate is decorated by an open worked border with diamond marquetry on the long sides. In the pendentives filigree inlays can be found.

Condition:

The table has traces of age and wear. The surface of the frame and the plate is faded. Slight dents can be found on the felt. Frame and plate have scratches and bumping-marks. The dimensions of the table are 73 x 95 x 49/95 cm. (bed)
