A CONTEMPORARY CHINOISERIE SECRETARY, LATE 20TH CENTURY, IN THE GEORGIAN TASTE. Comprising a drop front base with five drawers and all over gilt enameled scenes of Chinese figures, pavilions, and waterfowl on a black ground opening to reveal a well-appointed interior with floral decorations on a Chinese red ground, below a secretary top with high arched broken pediment and double arched doors each opening to reveal a fitted interior with 29 compartments all decorated with scenery and florals. Height 90 inches (228.5 cm), width 40 inches (101.5 cm), depth 22 inches (56 cm).
