Freeman, Augusta circa 1860. twelve pieces total, six dinner forks and six salad forks. total weight 17.6oz L7 3/4" L6 1/2" Note: These forks are being sold directly from the family of Richard Jefferson Willis "1789-1866" founder of Dover Plantation in Greene County Georgia. He served many terms in the Georgia State senate when the capital was at Milledgeville. This silver was very likely owned and used at Dover Plantation.
