(Felix, composer, 1809-47) Autograph Letter signed to Henry Fothergill Chorley, Belgrave Square, London, 5pp. & address panel, in English, 8vo, Leipzig, 21st July 1840, saying that he had deferred answering as to when he might visit as his health has been bad recently, but now he is feeling so much better that he is writing to confirm that he is coming and asking Chorley if he still means to visit Milan or Vienna and staying with him, "Do you know that such a prospect would make my whole journey to England look bright and gay?", and discussing Liszt, "I was glad to hear, that you like Liszt so much, he is such an extraordinary artist!", other artists, his prodigious memory etc., tears along folds and tears at head and tail where opened, browned.
