Description
A pair of fine Teotihuacan tripod bowls from Mexico, ca. 300 - 400 AD. These nicely burnished Late Tlamimilolpa examples is 4-1/4 in and 4-3/4 in in diameter, have flared rims and stand on the characteristic trio of nubbin legs. Strong mineral deposits. Ex Chicago estate. Cf. Berrin 'Teotihuacan', page 239.
