In these two serigraphs in colors from the years 1972 and 1973, the Austrian artist Erich Katzmann creates harmonious compositions in placing the forms that they appear as an organic whole. The balances abstract composition in earthly shades create a harmonious overall impression.
One serigraph is signed and dated lower right in pencil ‘E. Katzmann 1972’, and numbered lower left in pencil ‘10/5’. The other serigraph is signed and dated lower right in pencil ‘E. Katzmann 1973’, and inscribed lower left in pencil ‘E.A.’. The serigraph from 1972 shows foxing in the margin. The serigraph from 1973 shows glazes in the margin. The depictions measure 36 x 48 cm and 33.5 x 48.5 cm. (tm)
