The lamp was made by the Swiss artist Wilhelm Jaeger in 1994. The massive body rests on a transverse rectangular timber base. The lamp socked is mounted at the end of the high square wooden shaft. The metallic lamp shade is reminiscent of a spreading wrinkled sheet of paper. The body shows closeness to the Kubus-Pfahl-Figur of the artists.
The lamp is signed and dated on the base lower left ‘Wilhelm Jaeger 94’. It is in good fully functional condition, only several slightly soiled areas can be found. The dimensions are 178 x 61.5 x 14.5 cm (height x width x depth). There is no guarantee on functionality. (bed)
