Description
Two early 20th century 9ct gold items. To include a Masonic openwork panel with Masonic emblem and scroll engraving, together with a garnet and split pearl brooch. Brooch AF. Length of panel 2.3cms. Length of brooch 3.9cms. Weight 4.3gms.
Condition
Overall condition fair. Some surface wear in keeping with general age and wear. Masonic panel with surmount deficient. Light scratches. One end of the brooch deficient, broken off. Some areas slightly indented and misshapen. Brooch hinge fitting and pin deficient. Soft solder repairs to the reverse. One split pearl deficient. Possible replacement stones. Garnets purplish-pink. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Stones in fair to good condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles. Stamped 9ct. Stamp to Masonic panel partially indistinct.
