Description

C. 1960's Bowden 300 bicycle in "outer-space" blue. Very original untouched condition, missing front lamp and trim, paint has some imperfections. Includes photo and details of sale from previous owner ($1800 in 1982). Manufactured by Bomard Industries, Grand Haven Michigan, designed by Benjamin Bowden, an English industrial designer noted for his work on early Chevrolet Corvettes and the iconic Ford Thunderbird. This model represents industrial design as art. Mr. Bowden finally produced approx. 522 bicycles circa 1957-1961. Ex Jimmy Valentine collection, North Hollywood, CA. Good as described condition.
