Three (3) original Civil War Era Stereoview Photographs of Government Buildings in Washington, D.C., all taken shortly after the death of Abraham Lincoln, who would have still been serving his second term as President if he had not been assassinated. These photos include:

1. The United States CAPITOL BUILDING with its recently completed dome.

2. & 3. The TREASURY DEPARTMENT, and the PATENT OFFICE.

These historic views show the City, just recovering from the effects of the Civil, and the dirt streets that were walked by the "Great Emancipator." These three historic photographs were taken at the very end of the Civil War by Bell Brothers, Photographers, measuring 3.25" x 7", with descriptions upon each reverse. (3 items).
