Pennsylvania 18th Century Dower Chest, Probably Lehigh County. Front panel signed" Maria Keller, 1784". Polychrome decorated with hearts, potted flowers and geometric motifs. Molded lid, interior till, full width lower drawer, wrought iron strap hinges with penny ends and wrought iron jaw lock. Dovetailed case, pierced brass key eschutcheon, molded trim, two split lower lip molded dovetailed drawers, molded bracket base with dovetailed feet. 30-1/2'H. x 52"w. x 23-1/2 d. Condition: Very good, original paint with wear mostly on lid,scuffs and scrapes, restoration to feet.
