Harold Altman (American/ French, 1924-2003). "Rue Mouffetard I, II, III, and IV", chromolithographs, limited edition 243/285, each pencil signed, titled and numbered below the image. A collection of four lithographs depicting market scenes along the Rue Mouffetard in the 5th arrondissement of Paris, France, each depicting figures walking under and amongst the canopies and umbrellas of the market covering wares and food in the highly congested urban market. Each with an embossed publisher's seal "Mourlot". Framed approximately 18.75" x 22.5", sight size approximately 10.5" x 14.5".
Condition
All chromolithographs secured to mat board with hinging tape on top edge. All colors rich and vibrant without signs of fading. Little to no signs of toning. No signs of mat burn. Works do not seem to be cut down and are consistent in size.
