Washington: Thomas H. Ford, Printer, 1860. Illustrated with chromolithograph plates, 2 large folding maps, 1 folding profile, landscape lithographs, hand-colored ornithological plates, and lithographs of botanical and zoological specimens. Contents of Book I: Narrative of 1853 in 18 chapters. Contents of Book II: in two parts. Parts 2 and 3 of the narrative and final report by Isaac I. Stevens, Governor of Washington Territory, upon the route near the forty-seventh and forty-ninth parallels. CONDITION NOTES: Losses to bindings, loose pages, water and mildew stains, and foxing throughout. Some tears to pages and maps.
