Mounted in gilt bronze, with the lower section centered by a beautiful Verni Martin Cartouche expertly painted with a love scene. The sides are decorated with fine Marquetry inlay work framed by a cartouche of finely cast gilt bronze. The vitrine is fitted with one glass shelves for display, the lower section serves as a storage space. It is possible that this example is in fact Linke as the firm of Boudet was both a retailer and a maker of fine pieces in different mediums.
