Description
CONTINENTAL & AMERICAN PORCELAIN CABINET CUP & SAUCER SETS, LOT OF SIX, comprising a Vienna-type cabinet cup and saucer, the blue ground with gilt foliate scrolling motifs centering a winged angel on a bed of clouds, finely-painted within a beaded ovular reserve on the cup; a Continental, probably German Royal Worcester-type blush cup and saucer, the barrel-molded cup with stylized handle, and the lobed saucer, decorated with prunus and cherry blossoms under powdered gilt rims; and a Ceramic Art Company octagonal cup with applied double-ring handle, and same-shaped saucer, painted with pixies at play under gilt rims, with gilt handle. Various impressed and printed marks. Circa 1890 and later. 2 5/16" HOA, 4 5/16" DOA.
