Japanese woodblock depicting Geishas in okiya room with vanity mirror. Calligraphy to lower right with seal marks and Nishimura-ya Yohachi publisher marks. Includes optional wooden frame with matting and glass screen. We removed the work from the frame because it was covered by a print of a Japanese maiden in a garden, probably because the Geishas we're a little too faux pas for the owner at the time. Measures approx. 15 1/2" height x 10 1/2" width (39.4cm x 26.7cm). Total weight approx. 1222 grams.
