Circa turn of the 20th century, American, the stepped domical gilt brass shade housing three interior sockets, set to exterior with white iridescent and multicolored cabochon glass ''jewels'', pierced and embossed with foliate and rocaille decoration and embellished with an iridescent purplish-gray and caramel-colored Italian beaded glass fringe, supported on three twisted arms each terminating in Elizabeth Eaton Burton-style (1869-1937 American) floriform abalone shell lights above a similarly pierced and embossed baluster-form standard raised on a stepped domical base, electrified, 33.5'' H x 23'' Dia., est: $1000/1500

Condition
Overall good condition, with general light marks, scratches and extensive losses to gilding commensurate with age. Losses and breaks to beaded fringe; many beads detached but retained. One arm lacking one brass leaf. Wiring should be checked by a qualified electrician prior to use.
