A late 19th century cased turquoise locket. The oval locket with turquoise cabochons set as a cross and fan pattern to the reverse engraved with acanthus leaves in a similar design. Length 3.5cms. Weight 15.8gms. With monogrammed case.

The overall condition of this lot is good to fair, with only very light surface scratches to the metal in keeping with age and wear. The case in good to fair condition, slightly warped to the front so that it does not close completely, with monogrammed initials reading FAT to the front and to the inner lining the inscription 'Frances Alice Thompson 24. April 1879'.
