Pre-Columbian, Peru, Nazca, ca. 100 to 700 CE. A lovely Nazca pottery vessel from ancient Peru; a petite, handbuilt round bottomed kero form with remarkably thin and slightly concave walls and attractive polychrome decoration in vertical stripes of red, black and orange hues on a white ground. Size: 4-1/8"H (10.5 cm) x 4-3/16" in diameter (10.6 cm).
Provenance: Ex-private Crested Butte, CO collection, acquired in 1987.
