Other houses and figures are visible in the background. Illegibly signed lower left, possibly J. Fraseman or Kruseman. Housed in an elaborate Rococo Revival period giltwood molded frame with swept edges having pierced corners. Panel: 18-1/4" H x 14-1/2" W. Framed: 26" H x 22-3/4" W.

Overall craquelure, grime and darkened varnish, frame has been repainted and has some small breaks at the upper rabbet edges on each side.
