This harmonious Art Deco animal sculpture displays a couple of pheasants in a very balanced composition. The French artist Louis Fontinelle (1886-1964) created this sculpture using his characteristic craquele glaze and soft white tone.
Condition:
The sculpture is signed on the base L. Fontinelle. The piece is in very good condition with hardly any traces of age and wear. The total height is c. 14.5 cm. As the largest dimension the width amounts to 41 cm. Depth 6 cm.
