Description
English, 18th century. Early Georgian (ca. 1727-1760) tilt top mahogany table with pie crust edge joined to the support by vertical battens, upon a pillar shaft in the shape of a Doric column, terminating in three cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. Approximate height with top tilted upward: 39.75", height with top lowered to support: 28.50", diameter of top: 23". Provenance: From the Estate of Henry G. Muecke Jr., Atlanta, Georgia.
