A selection of three early 20th century 15ct gold gem-set and split pearl bar brooches. To include a sapphire and split pearl openwork brooch, an aquamarine and split pearl foliate brooch, together with an amethyst and split pearl brooch. Lengths 7.1 to 4cms. Weight 9.6gms.

Overall condition good. Surface scratches and minor discolouration in keeping with general wear. Amethyst and split-pearl brooch with replacement base metal pin and clasp. Sapphire and split-pearl brooch with base metal replacement safety-chain. Sapphire light to medium blue, well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions. Aquamarine light blue, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and no obvious inclusions. Amethyst medium dark purple, well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions. Split-pearls mostly well matched to each brooch, some show discolouration. Split-pearls with white to creamy-white colour, good to muted lustre, some show dark silvery-grey discolouration.
