Late Period, 664-332 BC. A carved ceramic mould fragment for the production of ceramic figurines from a two-part mould; the design a female face with lentoid eyes and pursed mouth, surmounted by a tiered crown or headdress with leaf detailing to the temples; locating socket to the right edge. 605 grams, 18 cm. (7"). Ex Kent collector; formerly in the Terence Eva collection, London, UK; formed in the 1970s-1980s. [No Reserve]
