Description

The following treasure is from the living estate of Ailene & Buddy Ford; noted dealers and lifelong collectors of exceptional antique & vintage heirlooms. This lot represents a beautiful 1990's Fenton hand painted Burmese Floral basket with a six crimped rim and rope twist handle. Hand-painted by A. Gruber *** limited edition signed by Bill Fenton has original stickers **** Weight :1# 6 oz. *** Measurements: 5 x 4 x 7.25 **** Originally produced between 1885 and 1900 by the Mt. Washington Glass Co. the Burmese color was not available for a number of years until Fenton, after much experimentation, developed the formula to faithfully reproduce the delicate blushing loveliness of the original Burmese treatment.
